Can i upgrade my video card on my acer aspire 6920?

its a laptop and want to play pc games and the current video card is a mobile Intel(R) 965 express chip set family and the sad thing is that i cant play games from 2005 with little lag and it really sucks!

any help or ideas?? and if i can upgrade it what would the price range be?

also im not afraid to open it up|||Laptops with integrated graphics (like yours) cannot have graphic upgrades installed. You simply have to buy a better computer to play games.

Here's a decent site I use to recommend discrete video cards (which are only upgradable 1% of the time) depending on the games you wish to play. You're looking at roughly $700 and up

http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeFo…|||If thats the card you have, idk if your PCI will be capable of holding a high end graphics card. It could be better if I knew what kind of games you want to play, PCs are always expandable.|||You can't upgrade it.

Most Video(Graphics) Cards are built in to the motherboard.

You will have to buy a new one. They are really expensive.

Your better off buying a new laptop.
