What's a Good but Cheap Video Card to get for my Computer?

I don't think my Video Card can play most recent games. I have an Intel GMA 3100. When I play the sims 3, it runs really slow. Will upgrading my card fix this?

Price range i'm looking for is anywhere around $100. Any ideas?|||first things first whats your motherboard's GPU slot is it PICe (PCI Express)? or AGP alright if your motherboard is PCIe then add some little buck and get either

Geforce 9800GT or- this card is even cheaper today can handle most modern games today with performance and graphic setting ( i have this card for 3 years i played CRYSIS with Enthusiast setting and decent screen resolution it runs very fun with it until now on CRYSIS 2 at HIGH setting and other games)

or better yet i recommend you

Geforce GTS 450

- this card tons of new gaming features such as DX11 there's a game today that has DX11 support so if you have this card your imagination is your limit the graphic is awesome! and performance is blazingly fast! i have this on my 2nd PC its really amazing performance

CAUTION!...you mentioned you were using onboard GMA3100 before putting a graphic card to your computer make sure you have decent PSU (Power Supply Unit) with 600 Watts or more lacking of PSU with powerful GPU might damaged your entire system dead!..

thats all goodluck~|||upgrading your card will help but might not fix the issue, having a good processor and a good video card will fix the problem. look around on newegg.com|||GTX550Ti

its a bit more than $100 but its worth every dollar, it will run sims 3 maxed out :)|||You can get an ATI Radeon HD 5570 for about $80.00.
