What Video Card Should i Get for about 200$ or less?

I'm thinking of buying a new graphics card in the 100$ to 200$ price range. I'm an nVIDIA fan as i've had problems with ati. What are some of your opinions on a good video card that u would greatly recommend. also im thinking of getting the EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX or EVGA GeForce 9800 GT.Which one do u think is better? Thanks for everyone answering :)|||Hi, I will tell you the differences between the 9800 GT and the 9800 GTX.

9800 GT: It has 112 vertex shaders.

9800 GTX: It has 128 vertex shaders.

9800 GT: It has 56 textures.

9800 GTX: It has 64 textures.

9800 GT: It has 112 pixel shaders.

9800 GTX: It has 128 pixel shaders.

9800 GT: It's core speed is 600 MHz, 1.5 GHz shaders.

9800 GTX: It's core speed is 675 MHz, 1.7 GHz shaders.

9800 GT: It has a memory speed of 900 MHz

9800 GTX: It has a memory speed of 1100 MHz.

The 9800 GTX is clearly better, but not by much - in many ways they are quite similar. The 9800 GTX is ranked 7th best in the NVIDIA range, and the 9800 GT is ranked 10th best.

Now to other issues. Do not buy a NVIDIA 280/295 GTX, they are upwards of $500. Instead, I'd settle for what you're considering at the moment, either a 9800 GT or 9800 GTX. They are more suited to your price range.|||The gtx is better. But the 9*** series is NVidia worst . I would get any other card. Even ati, an im a Nvidia fan.|||get the 9800GTX..it is way better than the 9800GT..and the guy above me has problems O_O i havent experienced any problem with my 2 9800GT's|||Ati currently holds the fastest single card GPU [Ati Radeon 4870 X2] it crushes what nvidia currently has. But budget card should be a geforce 9800GTX .....and obviously their is something wrong with the 9000 series because the 8800 GT is $100 more expensive than the 9800 GTX which should be faster.

These are the best current cards in your price range::

ATI radeon HD 4850 1GB ($170) [Dont recommend]

---

ATI radeon HD 4870 512mb ($210)

----->

Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 ($220)

the 4870 and 260 beat each other at many benchmarks...they are pretty much tie on gaming, the 4870's weakness is lower on-board memory; their is a 4870 with 1gb of memory; for a few dollars more and it adds another 10+ FPS in games...I found it as low as $240;

top-end budgets are 4870 512mb and the 260...so....whatever you perfer cause they run around the same in speed.
