i have the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX and i am thinking of linking it with another top of the line video card. price doesn't matter i just need to know the BEST of the BEST video card that is out.|||The GTX 295 is the best card in the world at this point. Keep in ind that you can only use SLI with two of the same cards. What you would have to do is use the GTX 295 as your main card, and then dedicated the 8800GTX for PhysX.|||The best video card is always the one that comes out just after you bought your new card. Seriously Toms_hardware does an excellent review of video cards and updates them regulary. The answer is either the latest Nvidia or the latest ATI. Neither win all benchmarks and neither are fastest on all games, the drivers are often optimized for specific games. so there is no 1 winner, either card will be a great choice. The current Nvidia is the GTX 295 and teh ATI is the HD4890.
Remember that it is possible to get the same performance from cheaper cards by buying 2 and runing in SLI (Nvidia) or Crossfire (ATI)
