Can anybody recommend a reasonably priced AGP video card that supports a resolution of 1440X900?

My LDC monitor supports a max resolution of 1440 by 900 but it seems that many video cards won't support this mode. Also, the card needs to be supported by Windows Vista.

Thanks in advance!!|||Ok so usually the problem with resolutions aren't inside the hardware video card itself, most usually they are within the software or driver, so I suggest you stick with downloading the latest drivers. But if I were to recommend, use ATI Radeon or nVidia GeForce MX / FX 5200|||If you want a high resolution desktop buy a NVidia Graphic Card..|||try nvidia

its what i use since i havnt upgraded to the new card motherboards|||Go to...

Tigerdirect.com|||Basically any Nvidia or ATI card will work under vista with the proper drives, it will require a fairly hefty card to run aero and the latest games however. On Nvidia's or ATI's site, check the specification table for supported resolutions. Also modern graphics cards should be able to push nearly any resolution if you force it in windows ( by unchecking hide unsupported modes) or using a third party utility, just make sure not to crank the refresh rate too high or you could damage the monitor
