What is the most important thing to look for in a video card?

ok well im looking at getting a new video card. i look at all of them and wonder ok this one has more streaming processors but this one has a fast core clock and shader clock. or the memory has 256-bit then 128-bit. but there around the same price. what should i look for that will give me more bang for my buck.!



Thanks!|||I would say the price/performance ratio. Money is important, after all.|||I'd have to say how much VRAM or Video Memory it has and what connectors it has, the more the better the card and better for future use. Also the MHZ of it is also nice.



Basically in computers typically the higher the numbers the better.
