Is this video card and processor good enough for The Sims 3?

I'm buying a new laptop and I want it to be able to play the Sims 3. I'm trying to keep the price low.

Video Card: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD

Processor: Intel® Celeron® 585 (1MB cache/2.16GHz/667Mhz FSB)|||The laptop has the ability to play Sims 3.

The CPU (Celeron 2.16 GHz single core) although not as speedy as the Core 2 Duo but is faster than a 2 GHz Pentium 4 is sufficient enough to run Sims 3.

The Intel GMAX4500HD is about 2x faster than the Intel GMA X3100 (the minimum recommended) so you should be able to play it on medium to medium-low settings just fine.|||The Graphics card is very weak, because it's an integrated one, all Intel Graphics are. Try to find a laptop which has a Nvidia or Ati Video Card. And the CPU is a bit weak too, I would prefer a Core 2Duo at the same speed range 2-2.4Ghz, those should be inexpensive too.

With your chosen settings, its likely you cant play any games at all, because Intel Graphics often gives up on 3D applications causing errors.|||Those will not run anything higher than the original Sims, so i would look into building a gaming computer with a Core 2 Duo / Pentium E5000 from 2.5 Ghz to 3.33 Ghz and a good graphics card like the 9600 GT/GSO, 9800 GT or the 9800 GTX+/GTS 250, and you will need 2GB+ of main memory as well.|||Go to Can I run this. However, personally I think You need a slightly better computer. That current spec might be able to run the game on low settings.|||No, the graphics card is too week, and I'm pretty sure that, that processor is no longer available..So yea..
