I've tried this XFX PVT44AWANG GeForce 6200 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 AGP 8X Video Card but it worked crappy do i need to buy something more expensive please give the lowest priced AGP video card that would actually work well with age of empires 3 and a 4x speed mother board|||If you are looking for a good AGP 4x card, seems to me that your computer is on the older side and in need of replacement.
You need a motherboard that can handle a PCI-E 2.0 video card.
That may not be what you want to hear, but it's good advise anyway.
By the way, you haven't provided any specs on your system. I'm thinking you may have a 'lack of ram' problem. Do you have at least 2 Gb's of ram installed and are they working correctly
Download and run Memtest86+ to verify.
